Q&A
Q: When I connect the host to external monitor, I have no image display or didn't work.
A: Please make sure that the DP plug connects to host (PC / laptop), HDMI plug connects to monitor. It's a unidirectional DisplayPort to HDMI cable, if you reverse the connection, it will NOT display.
Q: I can't get 4K@60Hz resolution.
A: (1) Make sure that the graphics card you’re using MUST support both DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0.
(2) Choose correct HDMI port. Some TVs have a feature you must turn on for 4k 60hz to work.
(3) Update the BIOS, graphics, and restart your laptop.
Q: After setting, why still no 4K@60Hz?
A: Active DP to HDMI cable supports resolution up to 4k@60Hz, please make sure your monitor can supply corresponding output. That means if your computer supports 4K@60Hz while your monitor only supports 1080p, you can only output 1080p rather than 4K.
Q: Why can’t I plug DP end into PC/Laptop?
A: This is DisplayPort (DP), NOT Regular USB or HDMI Connector. Please make sure the DP plug into the host (PC / laptop) with DP port.
Q: Why do I have screen tearing?
A: Update your Graphics Driver first when you have a screen tearing.
